Diagnostic Process

What Happens After You Submit a Website?

Our diagnostic scanner inspects your public web pages the same way an automated AI crawler does. Here is the step-by-step process of how evidence is extracted, evaluated, and compiled into your report.

Evaluation Workflow

The Six-Step Diagnostic Flow

01

Website Submitted

You enter your website URL into the scanner. We establish a secure connection to inspect only publicly accessible pages—no account, code installation, or server credentials required.

02

Website Examined

Our system fetches and parses the HTML of your primary public entry points, analyzing semantic text hierarchy, metadata, navigation structure, and server-rendered content.

03

Relevant Evidence Identified

We extract concrete, standalone business assertions: official naming, physical locations, service definitions, contact channels, and Schema.org structured data.

04

Signals Interpreted

The extracted data is evaluated for clarity and consistency. Are services defined with explicit scope? Are credentials verifiable? Does structured markup match the visible text?

05

Findings Organized

Checks are categorized across key dimensions (Identity, Service Clarity, Trust Signals, and Structured Markup) and assigned clear diagnostic statuses.

06

Report Generated

You receive an instant score, an executive summary of your strengths, and a prioritized list of plain-English recommendations to clarify your website for AI search.

Core Concept

Machine Evidence vs. Visual Design

The scanner does not evaluate whether a website looks aesthetically pleasing to a human designer. Instead, it evaluates whether your business identity, service scope, trust markers, and structured information are sufficiently clear and machine-readable for AI discovery.

Humans infer context from photos, colors, and layout cues. Automated crawlers and AI answer engines read raw semantic text and structured data. If essential details are implied rather than explicitly stated, automated systems struggle to verify what your company does.

Understanding Your Report

Why Your Report May Contain Unexpected Findings

Your report is an analytical assessment of publicly retrievable evidence, not a subjective review. Keep the following in mind when reviewing your score:

• A visually impressive site can still have weak machine-readable evidence

If key service details are embedded in graphics, sliders, or abstract marketing copy, automated crawlers cannot parse them as facts.

• The scanner only assesses evidence it can actually retrieve

If content is locked behind login screens, unrendered scripts, or aggressive bot blockers, automated systems cannot confirm it exists.

• A missing finding does not mean your business lacks that quality

It simply means your public web pages do not currently provide the clear, explicit text required for an AI system to verify that quality with confidence.

Status Guide

How to Read Finding Statuses

Passed

The signal is explicitly present, unambiguous, and formatted correctly for automated parsers.

Warning

Information is present but ambiguous, incomplete, or lacks necessary geographic/service boundaries.

Failed

An essential signal (such as primary service definitions or location data) could not be found in public text.

Insufficient Evidence

The scanner could not find enough verifiable public text to confirm a specific capability or credential.
